Inspired by Americana, Bensoni’s Spring / Summer 2010 collection cleverly uses patriotic emblems as elements without being cliché.

The floral / rose print, be it the jacket or the sheath dress is a witty take on American symbolism. And yes, there are the requisite stripes, but they were ingeniously incorporated in skirts and in the sailor dress done in navy and red stripes.

Of course, there is the expected red, white and blue, which are also smartly proposed in the scarlet sheath dress, strapless white cocktail dress and the floral organza dress in denim blue.
