Are Moschino Jeans making a come back? Check out these blinged up denim strides. Many in the fashion industry predict Moschino would pass with Franco but maybe that prediction was ill-conceived.
This festive season, Moschino takes part in the charity event ‘Il Natale dei 100 Alberi d’Autore’, with the Rome town council and the support of RAI Social Secretariat. The project takes place the prestigious Palazzo della Cancelleria in Rome.
The initiative invited fashion companies to create a personalized Christmas tree that will be sold in order to raise funds for the Rehabilitation Department of Bambin Gesù Pediatric Hospital in Rome. For the occasion, Moschino’s mascot, Luisa the goose, wears a Christmas tree-dress in green velvet, accented with bows, pearls and a star on her head.
It’s the end of the Moschino Jeans era! But fear not, a new dawn rises with Love Moschino. Moschino Jeans was created in 1987 and quickly became recognised as one of the most edgy denim brands of the time. The brand has lost some ground over recent years so hopefully this new venture will inject new life into Moschino denimwear. Why the new name? Apparently Moschino wants to instil the qualities of LOVE into it’s denim collection: empathy, feeling and closeness. The first Love Moschino collection will be distributed in stores beginning of June 2008. Would Franco approve?
